Intro to the History of Photography

The first thing that I learned from completing my poster and learning about other peoples poster is that photography is very recent. It wasn’t invented a long time ago although some of the ideas were. Another thing I learned is that there wasn’t many famous women photographers. A lot of the famous photographers were men such as Richard Avedon and Jacob Riis. I also learned about the different processes in which the photographers used. The methods for printing photographs are mostly the same today although the chemicals are not as harmful to you.
